Robert Popper has donated a DVD "Look Around You" and two books: "The Timewaster Letters" and "Return of the Timewaster Letters" under pseudonym Robin Cooper - all are signed by him.
Twitter Campaign created to seek signed donations from well known Tweeters for an ebay Auction in aid of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. Do something amazing for those living with Cystic Fibrosis and consider making a donation - small or large - all welcome. (Photograph is Emjay aged 2 with Cystic Fibrosis)

Courtney Cox - Friends
These items of clothing were kindly donated by a follower on Twitter - they are items of clothing worn by Courtney Cox in the earlier episodes of Friends. The cerise coloured top comes with a Certificate of Authenticy - they other two items you have to take the word of the donation that these were used in the Series.
If you are an extremely tiny size 6, these will fit you - or someone who collects items like these would be happy to add them to their collection.
Jacket is buttoned and skirt is also buttoned down the back.

Ant & Dec Toilet Roll & Suzanne Shaw T-Shirt
One of my followers on Twitter (Nimblerunner) has donated these items for the Auction - a commiseration prize from Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway he won ... a toilet roll (unused!) and a signed t-shirt from Suzanne Shaw given to him after a running Event. Very considerate to part with these items which would obviously have some memories attached to them - I hope we can do them justice and raise a few £1's for the CF Trust with them.
Thank you Stephen!
I have been really overwhelmed this past week with followers popping up all the time offering to donate things they have themselves to the Auction through Tweet's they've read from me seeking help. Human nature takes me completely by surprise most of the time. I have had some items of clothing donated which arrived today also, but my camera is not picking up the colours nicely on my Blackbery so will add them tomorrow via hubby's camera.
The Christmas Auction is turning in to a bigger Campaign than I thought it would - let's hope it raises the target I set - a mere £500 - surely with help we can double that?!

Bill Wyman's Rhythm Kings on the Road Programme
Received this Bill Wyman & Rhythm Kings programme signed by Bill Wyman today from:
Karen Noble & Dave South auntie & uncle of Joseph with CF age 11
Extremely considerate of them to take the time to send this donation and am really grateful for the thoughtfulness. Here's hoping it raises more than a few £1's for the CF Trust.

A few more donations
Donations for the Campaign are coming in steadily now - which is very good news. Tuesday I had a signed copy of The Thick of It (signed by writer Simon Blackwell):
Yesterday I received a signed book from Janey Godley:
This poster is a caricature picture of Gary Linekar signed by him which was donated for my Ball which didn't happen (far too many other things going on for me to squeeze that in this year), which I am going to use for the Auction:
Today I have received 2 items for the Auction - a t-shirt from French Connection sourced by Becca on Twitter:
And this poster also arrived today from Chris Evan's PA signed by Chris Evans, Simon Mayo, Jeremy Vine, Steve Wright, Lynn Bowls & Ken Bruce.
Feeling a lot more positive about the Campaign now - more items promised so will update as they arrive. Let's make this happen - KICKING CF's ASS!!

CF Mum Donations
Carol (tensetten), CF Mum, has donated a couple of framed pieces for the Auction: one of Oasis - Gold Disc (unsigned) and one of Geoff Hurst (signed). As these are worth more than pennies, I'll put a reserve on them so they don't sell for less than they are worth. Had a couple more donations today - both signed books, which will add to the Blog when I can find my camera!
Had another "sorry can't help" message today, which I found quite disheartening - it does make me very sad when people say that because there's no such thing as "can't", more like "won't"! However, a tiny reasonable part of me does understand that they have to draw the line somewhere if they support other Charities - I don't find rejection easy to take when this Campaign is so very personal to me and to all the others helping me source out donations.
Between my little Team we are getting a reasonable amount of support, so can't really complain and the good thing about Twitter is that there is no having to compile letters, posting and waiting for a none reply/can't help reply - we can mostly go directly to the "Celeb" or Company and ask they if they will help - those with thousands/millions of followers won't help though - they must get asked too many times for help/can't see the Tweets amongst their messages. Doesn't stop us trying though - and we are VERY trying!!

Jancis Robinson & KT Tunstall
Holly (wheezingwolly) is on a roll with donations at the moment - she has the nack of not giving in which turns in to results! Donations from Jancis Robinson (wine expert - my kind of woman!!) and a photograph from KT Tunstall:
Have a nice Team of helpers on Twitter now all sending the same message generated from mine - hard to put too much information in to 140 characters, but hope that what is sent is basic enough for most. I could send them more, like the Harsh Reality slideshow I've just put together showing what children with Cystic Fibrosis have to go through (not just the children obviously, but children pull at the heart strings more = more donations), but there is not room. Cystic Fibrosis is an unseen condition - it's time that people saw the side which no child should have to go through. Take a moment to watch and then think about WHAT YOU COULD DO TO HELP - Thank you.

Lorraine Kelly
Lovely Lorraine Kelly has sent Holly a dress to use in the Auction and a signed picture - extremely generous of her, although I know from past experience of seeking support from Lorraine that she is always very supportive (especially as she was the one who dedicated her write up on us for the Candis Outstanding Family of the Year Award last year). I don't think the dress would fit me so I think I'll rule myself out of this Auction, but hope that it meets with some good bids.
More donations needed, but me and the Team are cracking on with the Tweets regardless of the 1% response out of hundreds of Tweets so far - that 1% will make a big difference and along the way we hope to raise much awareness for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

Al Murray & Domino's Pizza
Al Murray has donated a signed DVD, card and some cufflinks for the Auction - very nice man! My little storage box is starting to fill up with donations slowly. Had well over 60 yay's now from Celeb's on Twitter offering to make a donation, but remains to be seen if they actually follow through as I've "been there, done that, and got the t-shirt" so to speak - been promised things which never turn up. I'm one of those people who tries my best NEVER to let ANYONE down, so find it hard to understand those who give false hope - hey ho - such is life and not everyone thinks in the same way I do - thank god some might say!! All donations no matter how small or BIG (we like BIG!) are gratefully received. Also received 3 x vouchers for Domino's Pizza's kindly sourced by Becca who is helping me with the Tweeting requests on Twitter.
The CF Auction for Christmas Team consists of myself, Holly (aged 17 with CF), Allison (mum to Hannah aged 13 with CF) and Becca - friend to all 3 who is sourcing Auction items from big known store names.
Between now and 30th November I'll be Tweeting left, right and centre with my fellow Team Tweeters to drum up support for the Auction ..... so BEWARE!!

Gavin & Stacey
Fellow CF mum, Allison, has acquired a signed Gavin and Stacy book signed by Ruth Jones and James Corden for the Christmas Auction from W H Smith - fab!
We accept any donation of any size for this Campaign from a signed picture to a signed Aston Martin (no chance!!) - will keep plugging away for support over the next few weeks.

Samantha Fox
Lovely Samantha has donated a nice pile of signed items for the Christmas Auction ..... one's husband was most interested in the bra, but that's gone in the storage box I bought for the items now out of his way!!! Might split these in to two Auctions or individual one's, not decided yet - depends on how many other things we get. Truly appreciate the considerate donation and Joe also enjoyed the tube the posters came in which he has now turned in to a telescope!!
Our little Christmas Auction is picking up with donation offers so fingers crossed we can make a good Auction for the Charity - target to make is only £500 so am sure we can manage that - with help!

Donation Picture
First picture of donation on it's way from Michael Shirley, Designer based in Hollywood who is kindly sending this Dior Pencil Sharpner. Extremely considerate of him.
Yesterday I had a reply from a Celebrity Management which represents all the big A Listers on TV at the moment saying they had no signed items at the moment and Good Luck with the Auction - thought that was rather dismissive as there are 10 weeks until Christmas which gives ample time to get just one picture signed! Oh well - I suppose they get so many requests that eventually that just have to say no in one way or another, but a small contribution would have been nice.
I have a few items myself I can add to the Campaign which were donated with the GET IT OFF YOUR CHEST Campaign - signed Lorraine Kelly t-shirt/book/picture, signed Matt Lewis t-shirt (Neville Longbottom from Harry Potter films), signed Tamzin Outwaite t-shirt/picture & signed Big Brother contestant t-shirt/picture.
I intend on moving in a different direction for donations from Twitter as again, I suppose they get asked all the time to contribute. I know that ALL Celeb's have profile pictures taken so just sending one of those out would not be costly - the price of a 2nd Class stamp.
The Campaign is picking up with the help of friends so will continue to update on progress as things start to arrive.

Campaign Dedication to Helen
In memory of the lovely Helen who sadly lost her fight for life yesterday at the age of 31 I dedicate the Christmas ebay Auction to her memory and all the other CF Angel's looking down on us.
Helen was an inspiration to many and made a BIG impact on the lives of complete strangers who never even met her - including me. She was always smiling, concerned about others and considerate despite her struggle and pain. She waited a year for a transplant call which never came and spent the final 10 weeks of her life in Hospital.
Helen loved the attention she got on Twitter - she felt like a Celebrity and she was extra special - so she'll continue to get attention as long as this Campaign is gaining momentum. Let's make is a GOOD ONE and raise as much awareness and monies as we can for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust in her memory - LET'S KICK CF'S ASS THIS CHRISTMAS. Thank you all for your support.

Massive Support!
It always amazes me how total strangers can jump in and help you with something when they see how hard you are trying to achieve a goal. I have some amazing followers on Twitter who have been helping me Tweet Celeb's relentlessly over the past couple of days asking for support for the Christmas ebay Auction and I'm truly touched by this support. I also have the support of fellow CF Mum's and the lovely Holly, who is only 17 years old and suffers from Cystic Fibrosis herself. We all have the same aim - to raise as much awareness as possible for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust and to also make sure that this Campaign is a complete success.
Between us we now have 24 offers of donations for the Auction, which is great news. It doesn't matter how small or how big, it will all get used.
I hope to compile a running list of donations once they start arriving and will be purchasing a very special storage box to keep them in until it's time to list them. I hope to beable to set up the Auction page on ebay so that all Auctions start at the same time and am not actually sure when to start them yet. I don't want them to finish on Christmas Day as no-one is going to have time to sit and bid on them so might get them to finish the day after Boxing Day.
Donations don't just have to come from Celeb's and they don't have to be signed - I intend on contacting magazines/newspapers to see if they will donate "anything" to the Campaign - target 100! The challenge is on!!!

A New Venture!
Always one for trying to think of new idea's to raise awareness and monies for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust ... this idea came about after using Twitter to drum up support and awareness for the Charity by asking Celeb's and followers to re-tweet to raise awareness for the Charity and watching how others used the site to drum up support for their Charities. The TwitChange venture where Celebrities offered to follow/re-tweet/mention a winning bidder for their profile on ebay was extremely inspiring to me. I wanted to see if I could drum up some Celebrity support myself for a new Campaign and as I wanted to do something for Christmas and couldn't think what I suddenly thought it might be a good idea to ask Celebrities if they would donate something signed to use as Auction lot's on ebay to raise monies for the Charity. Asking specifically for something signed made it compact enough for them to decide themselves what they donate and that is open to all idea's from photographs, CD's, DVD's, books, clothing, empty crisp packet - anything!
With the help of fellow Twitter followers the Campaign is now underway and with only 36 hours of asking I already have a nice list of 16 yay's!! I do have some item's already donated from my GET IT OFF YOUR CHEST t-shirt Campaign which I will also be adding to the list.
The target is 100 - it's always a nice round number to get to! Hopefully this will be possible ... with a little help!!
I have made a "List" on my Twitter profile (cysticfibrosism) to show helpers who has already said yes to donations so that the same person does not keep getting asked.
This venture should not be a big inconvenience to Celebrities who are being asked to take part - offering something as simple as a signed picture is no big expense to them, but could make a difference to the end total of this venture. It only remains to be seen who will reply.
I won't only be using Twitter for this venture - I intend on e-mailing Agent's/Managers/Record Labels/Football Clubs/Magazines - anyone who I think might contribute something, no matter how small.
I will add any pictures of Auction items I receive to this Blog to keep helpers up to date on progress - here's hoping this turns in to a successful venture for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
