Quick update: Sending cheques totalling £1238 which is proceeds paid so far minus ebay fee's of just over £200. Just over £230 outstanding as 7 items have not been paid for yet, so this will take proceeds to £1468.
ebay still won't allow me to list any new items as my 30 day selling period is not up until the beginning of February, so it will be another week before I can list the remaining items which I hope will raise another £500+ to take overall proceeds to £2000.
Fingers crossed and will be back to plugging the Auction on Twitter very soon - I have a new plan!!

Auction Update
Taken a few days break from Twitter to catch up on several jobs outstanding from over Christmas and New Year now that the boys are back at School - hence the unusual quietness!!
Progress Report for the Auction:
So far proceeds stand at nearly £1500 - no exact figure at the moment as there are still a few items on ebay which finish in just over 2 days, so can gauge better after that nearish figure, bearing in mind that ebay fee's alone at the moment are over £200 and Paypal also take a %, I still think the £1500 is possible once the costs have been deducted. Well worth the effort put in by myself and my friends to achieve this. Some people have been extremely generous and have donated extra after being so pleased with their item - some have bid and not wanted the item, paid and offered it to the next highest bidder, which has made more monies. Some items I also have 2 of so offered the 2nd item to the next highest bidder, so all in all donations made in this manner have generated another £100+
At the moment I can't list any more items on either account - one has restrictions of listing only 30 a month, which I've gone over and the other has restrictions of 10 items, but for some reason it let me list 24 before it decided to tell me about the restrictions! Once the new account gets more feedback i.e. more established, then it will let me list more. These items will be added on to the current total as I'm not sure how long it will take before I can list again.
Interest in the Auctions has ground to a halt so I feel a little reminder and push would generate a few more bids to help push towards the new goal of £2000 in proceeds - which would be fabulous!! Keep watching - new items to be added to the Auction are listed below, with a few more to follow:
Signed Ross King pictures donated by himself:
Signed Phantom of the Opera poster donated by John Owen Jones (The Phantom):

Smashed £1000 in Proceeds!
The Auction is going really well with proceeds standing at just over £1100 at the moment. The first batch made approximately £820 and possibly a little bit more as all monies have not been paid yet and I did sell an extra set of Tristan Gemmill pictures as I had 2 lot's which am waiting for payment. Sent out the first lot which were paid for on Tuesday and hopefully all will be delivered within the next few days - most sent 2nd Class. The next batch finish in 2 days and currently stand at nearly £300 and hope to make over £500 for this batch. I have a few more bits and bobs to add over the next few days but am not adding every thing at once as it is time consuming packing up items, trundling to Post Office etc.
More items promised in the post so hopefully will have 1 more batch to list and then can total up proceeds - on target to make about £1500 which is not bad for a few months of Tweeting to ask for donations - not all Celeb's will respond to this kind of request direct, but most will donate a photograph. Even a photograph can make monies when signed, which is why I specified signed items when requesting donations. For example, the Lucy Speed picture is at £20 at the moment because apparently it is "rare" because they are not making The Bill anymore.
So far the Auction has exceeded my expectations - and there is more to come!! Keep watching for more exciting items.
As this Auction is now in to the New Year, I've removed the Christmas reference to it to avoid confusion and hopefully more donations will arrive as Celeb's might think they are too late to donate - it's never too late to donate and ALL will be used to raise awareness & monies for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust .... after all, Cystic Fibrosis is going no-where until a cure is found.
P.S. A Twitter follower informed me that as I only have "0" feedback on my ebay account people might not think I am trustworthy and won't buy - this was unavoidable due to ebay now allowing me to list more than 30 items on my regular account with nearly 1200 feedback 100% so I had to create a new account and I AM TRUSTWORTHY - having raised well over £150,000 in nearly 6 years for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, I think that would count for something!

New ebay Account & Auctions Update
As ebay wouldn't allow me to add any more than 30 items on my regular ebay account I created a new one to add more donations - link below:
New ebay Auctions
New items are being added all the time inbetween doing other jobs - several more to be added over the next couple of weeks and more promised in the post soon.
So far the Auctions combined have made over £700!!!! Far exceeded my expectations. I had thought that maybe £500 was possible for ALL items donated as we didn't actually have anything BIG given to us, but all were SIGNED, which has made a massive difference in the bidding. With two accounts now on the go I see £1000 possible, which would be marvellous, but one is not going to count one's eggs before they are hatched - so to speak!!
To anyone who has won an Auction - they will be posted out 2nd Class on Tuesday and hope all are pleased with their purchases - and THANK YOU for the support.

More Publicity & Auction Progress
Exciting couple of days with bits of publicity popping up in various places - managed to get links to a few with the help of friends who have pointed me in the direction of them - local newspaper, national newspaper AND international newspaper! Along with a Tweet from ITV Central and text on the Sky News website! Links to all stories:
Sky News
Retford Times - My Local Newspaper
Daily Mirror
Times of Malta
Community Newswire
Great awareness and this publicity has generated quite a bit of interest in the Auction items - so much so that the proceeds this morning stand at £414 in total! Gobsmacked. With a lot of pushing via Twitter yesterday courtesy of good friends Becca and Allison helping ALL Auction items now have bids on them so all will sell. Initially I was hopeful of about £500 for all items, but the first batch will smash that and I have loads more to add yet. Hoping to list more tomorrow. The first 3 finish tonight and the rest follow over the next couple of days.
To anyone who still wants to donate - there is ALWAYS time - Cystic Fibrosis is going no-where and this Campaign is going to run for a few more weeks yet with all donations we have and have still been promised. I can see the £1000 target being beaten sooner rather than later!!
